W4MW - Spend The Day at a Museum ... For Free

The Smithsonian sponsors a day at a museum or cultural arts center for free once a year...and that day is this upcoming Saturday, September 27th. You can get free admission for yourself and a guest by simply filling out a little bit of information and printing out your pass.

This is the second year that The Doodlebug and I have participated in the free day. Last year we had a wonderful time and spent hours at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. We made sure to stop by and fill out the required information so that we could take plenty of pictures. I think we spent hours there, looking at the artwork on display.

Click here to go to the site and to find out more information about what is available that day in your area.

Be sure to check out other W4MW posts over at Rocks In My Dryer.

I think museums are neat. I love the weird feeling you get when you see something in "real life" that you have only read about or seen in books or tv.

Going to the museum of natural history in NYC to see the dinosaur fossils was amazing!

Oh that's awesome! Too bad it wasn't two weeks ago when we went with the whole family...oh well, now we can see the parts that we missed before!
