The Doodlebug is always bringing home tons of art projects from school. I finally figured out how to preserve her work while saving space in our home... I take a picture of her
with the artwork, and then I take a picture of the artwork itself. Here is an example - and it keeps us both happy - she has the memories and I have less to contend with around the house.

Yes, I started doing that, too. Now if I could only keep up with the photos. :)
This is such a great idea! Thanks for the tip.
Ah! Great minds - I do this too and the photos of their artwork are great for digital scrapbooking, too!
This is a GREAT idea! I've actually done this once, because it was something that would have perished. But for all the big ones that don't perish...this is fantastic!
Thanks for visiting my blog today too!
Great idea! Thanks for visiting my blog :)
good idea! I love both reasons for doing that!
Thanks for visiting my blog! (-:
That sounds like a good idea! You should see our basement! It's like an art museum with all the art on the walls! I'll have to talk with Hubby about this! Thanks for the info!
That is an EXCELLENT idea. My boys are voracious drawers. I'll have to start doing this, cause we have art work taped up all over the walls for too long.
Thanks for stopping by!
